The four steps of the Leading Voice Method
Listen, Tune, Release and Ground. Four steps that help you find your way back to your own voice and express yourself more freely.
We adapt the work to you. You can return to the different steps as needed, through different phases of life.
A process adapted to you
The Leading Voice Method starts from the whole of you – your body, your voice and your life. The four steps are connected and support one another. Sometimes we begin by listening. At other times you first need to release a tension or try out a new expression.
There is no fixed recipe you have to fit into. We work with what needs attention right now, with openness, curiosity and time to notice.
The four steps of the Leading Voice Method
Listen
Listen to the body, the voice, the emotions and what is true.
Tune
Give words, sound and expression to what lives within you.
Release
Let go of what holds you back.
Ground
Bring what you learn into the body and everyday life.
Getting to know each step
1. Listen – connect with what is true
Listening is turning down the noise and directing your attention inward. We listen to the body, to the voice, to the emotions and to what perhaps has not yet found words. Here we create room for honesty, presence and closer contact with ourselves. Listening is a place to begin.
2. Tune – give expression to what lives within you
Once we have listened, it is time to put words, sound and expression to what we feel. Tuning is about finding your own voice – both literally and figuratively. It is daring to say what is true, and letting your own voice take up space.
3. Release – let go of what holds you back
Here we work with blocks, old patterns and tensions that limit your expression. They can be old experiences, inner criticism, fear or expectations you have carried for a long time. We explore what you need in order to let go, at your own pace. That way there can be more room to be yourself.
4. Ground – make freedom part of everyday life
Grounding is about taking care of what you have discovered, and giving it a place in the body, the voice and everyday life. Through practice and small choices, what is new can become more familiar and safe. The aim is that you can use what you have experienced between sessions too, and over time.
Freedom is not becoming someone else, but coming closer to who you already are.
